Description
In the spring of 2019, Frank Roberts walked from Lowestoft Ness to Ardnamurchan Point; the easternmost and westernmost extremities of the mainland in Great Britain.
The route taken was far from direct and included London, Edinburgh and several other cities. Scores of towns and hundreds of villages were passed along the way, including the highest and lowest geographical points of Britain. Many famous landmarks were visited and many little-known wayside curiosities, all with interesting tales waiting to be told.
Enduring the rough and celebrating the smooth, Roberts candidly shares all aspects of his experience, from chaotic urban centres to the vast, empty wilderness of the Scottish Highlands and long stretches of glorious coastline.
Read and enjoy each of the daily walk reports that form a complete and detailed account of this author's unique long-distance trail.
