Description

While on routine patrol in Southwest Detroit, Officer Roberta Hodgson happens upon a single-vehicle crash scene fatality. Although it appears to be a straightforward accident, the victim was a high profile professional athlete and media is on high alert. Homicide Detective Finn Gaines is assigned to investigate and determine whether or not an actual crime was committed. This uniquely written crime/mystery novel tells the story of a rookie Detroit Tigers infielder losing his life, from three perspectives: The officer who discovers the body, Roberta Hodgson - Veteran Detroit Tigers infielder, Jimmy Greyson - Homicide Detective Finn Gaines. Read the novel to find out how their stories intertwine!

This is a crime novel with some baseball as a bonus!
REVIEWS

"There's a new author in town and here's hoping that Warner keeps writing! Sign of a good mystery novel is that it keeps you turning the pages. Mission accomplished. Warner's style was familiar, engaging, and elicited strong reactions to the various cast of characters. The plot moved well and the story telling style belied a first time author. I wanted to savour the book over the week but I was so riveted that it ended up being a two day read (and only because I forced myself to put it down to lengthen the read!). If you're a baseball enthusiast, that's an added bonus as you'll enjoy the references to the game. Mostly, anyone who enjoys a gripping novel with some great plot twists should pick up a copy of Undone." - RF, Canada, 5-Stars

"I read this book in just a couple of days. LOVED IT! It's the fictional story of a rookie shortstop for the Detroit Tigers who is in a car accident. Is it an accident? Or is it murder? If you are a Tiger fan or from Detroit you will love this story & all of the references to Detroit Landmarks.I highly recommend this book!" - CS, United States, 5-Stars

"Undone is a great crime novel from a talented new author. Warner cleverly layers in the story of one seemingly straightforward event through the perspective of three central characters. The twists and turns of the main plot line will take you on an interesting journey through human nature and police procedure. The added flavour of references to real-life people and places in the Detroit area offers the reader a feeling of being there and walking alongside the characters as they navigate their way through a compelling storyline." - JF, Canada, 5-Stars

"Loved this book, not only for the thriller, itself, but because it is based in Detroit and centered around my beloved Tigers. You will like Detective Finn Gaines and his Columbo-like investigative skills and tenacity. I recommend this book to all crime solving readers and all Detroit Tiger fans." - GN, United States, 5-Stars
